Do I need a computer to take classes in KI?

Either a computer or compatible tablet/mobile device, Koinonia Institute offers its classes online only. Even though audio and visual media can be purchased and shipped by postal mail, examinations and student/instructor interaction occurs via the Internet. Most of the materials are available on-demand, digital downloads, as well as Audio CD-ROM, and DVD. The prospective student who wishes to take advantage of these materials should have the appropriate equipment available to them. Our DVD's are not region locked so can be played worldwide.

We understand that a computer system can be a major expense, however you do not require a high-end machine. You just need to be able to access the internet and have video playback capability. And, for those who do not have the means to make a purchase, many public libraries have computer equipment available for public use at little or no cost.

We recommend that you look into some of these options if you are currently unable to access the Internet or if your computer equipment does not have a CD-ROM, and/or DVD-ROM. We believe that your learning experience will be enhanced by your ability to fully take part in our online study format.
